In the new era of war and occupation our world is living in, imperialist forces are in a constant state of preparing for new wars, launching invasions and interventions, or consolidating their occupations. The antiwar movement worldwide is constantly faced with the task of how to respond most effectively as new fronts of war are imposed on working and oppressed people. The antiwar movement here in Canada has the critical points of war both at home and abroad to take on if not for anything else but precisely for the government of Canada’s complacency and participation in this killing spree. Abroad, the foreign military preparation and manipulation and propaganda campaign against Iran and Syria is escalating dangerously. At home, right now teachers and their unions, as well as the educational system especially in BC and also nationally are under attack from the BC provincial government and the government of Canada. While in BC teachers are fighting to increase years of stagnated wages, the Harper government spends billions of dollars in war mongering and destruction of human life around the globe.   
This forum will discuss:

>> What would be the position of the antiwar movement in Canada regarding the targeting of Iran and Syria?
>> Why is there no effective campaign in Canada against the war drive of the government of Canada and the U.S. against Iran and Syria?
>> Why are all major political parties in Canada for harsher measures against Iran and Syria?  
>> What kind of antiwar campaign and coalition do working and poor people need to have in Canada?
