Still on the Streets: Bahrain’s Mass Movement on the Move

>>>=>>>=>>>=>>>=>>>=>>>=>>>=>>>=>>>=>>>=>>>

Since mass movements began across the Middle East and North
Africa a year and a half ago, the people of Bahrain have been carrying out
continuous and still growing protests against the U.S. puppet monarchy. On May
18th, 2012 about 300,000 people (nearly one third of the countries
population) gathered in Manama to protest and show their strong opposition to
the undemocratic move by the Saudi Arabian and Bahrani monarchs.  This new move proposes a bilateral military
and foreign policy union between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Imperialists are claiming human rights violations and
repression in Syria as a basis for foreign intervention. Why are human rights
abuses against protesters in Bahrain, and even the kidnappings and killings of
doctors treating protesters, largely ignored in mainstream media? Why is Syria
facing sanctions, while Bahrain is receiving sales of U.S. arms? Join the forum
to discuss these questions, and how the antiwar movement should respond.
