The U.S. government and their imperialist allies are escalating their covert and overt military actions, sanctions and threats of war against Iran and Syria. 

Since a motion for increased sanctions on Syria failed in the UN Security Council a couple of days ago, colonial powers have been maneuvering to try to find the best way to overthrow the President of Syria Bashar al-Assad, including continuing their efforts to destabilize Syria with the funding of armed “rebel” groups. 

At the same time the U.S. is sending yet another aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf, increasing their military build-up against Iran.

As well, last week Bradley Manning, the U.S. soldier and whistleblower who exposed the crimes of the U.S. and their allies around the world, including in the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan, was once again in front of a military court for a pre-trial hearing.
