The new era of war and occupation that
defines our world today began with the US led invasion of Afghanistan
on October 7th, 2011. For a decade, the Afghan people have
seen the destruction of their land, the deaths of their people and
the deterioration of life under the heel of the brutal Canada/US/NATO
occupation force. For a decade the Afghan people have been resisting
an occupation, and fighting for their self determination. Where does
Afghanistan, the antiwar movement and oppressed nations around the
world stand today, after a decade of the new era of war and
occupation?











Screening 45 minutes of documentary and
news clips. Followed by speaker and discussion.
