After 8 months of a NATO led bombing campaign against Libya, that flattened hospitals, schools, homes and left thousands dead in the name of a so called “humanitarian intervention”, now imperialist forces including the US and Canada are preparing to launch yet another war on the people of Syria and Iran. These latest attacks in the new era of war and occupation have already begun with sanctions imposed against both Iran and Syria. 

“I would expect from Canada, in both of those cases, the kind of involvement we've seen in Libya including a leadership role,” stated U.S senator John McCain at the Halifax International Security Forum on November 20th. “They gained a lot of experience in this whole Libyan operation.” Also speaking at the Security forum, Canadian defense minister Peter McKay stated that in the case of Syria and Iran, "certainly we've prepared for all inevitabilities." 

Screening 45 minutes of documentary and news clips about the recent imperialist campaign against Iran and Syria, followed by speakers and discussion.
