On Thursday November 24 in Ottawa, the government of Canada
celebrated their intervention in Libya with an event complete with firing
cannons, jet shows, medals and congratulatory speeches. While lauding Canada’s
contribution of over 1000 bombing sorties on Libya, they failed to mention the
tens of thousands of innocent Libyan people killed by those bombs, and the
destruction of towns and cities thanks to Canada’s “contribution.”






 






>From the imperialist intervention in Libya, to the ongoing
wars and occupation in Afghanistan and Iraq, to the threats of attack on Syria
and Iran, imperialist attacks are on the rise. Mobilization Against War &
Occupation (MAWO) encourages peace loving people to come together this Saturday
for a antiwar rally and petition campaign to demand:
