On October 20th, 2011 Gaddafi was murdered in
Libya. Since then, his killing has been sensationalized around the world, and
lauded as a “victory” for the people of Libya. With this so-called victory,
comes the end of the self determination of the Libyan people, at the price of
over 30,000 Libyan deaths and entire cities and infrastructure destroyed by
NATO bombs. 

 

Take part in this forum to discuss the prospects for Libya
and the role of the antiwar movement in this period of continued attacks
against the Libyan people and imperialist intervention. 



Screening 45 minutes of documentary and news clips about the NATO/US/Canada
bombing and intervention in Libya. Followed by speaker and discussion.

 

Speaker: Ali Yerevani ~ political editor, social justice,
Cuba solidarity and antiwar organizer and participant in the Iranian Revolution
of 1979.
