Since  2001 all of the different governments of Canada have actively  participated in the New Era of Imperialist War and Occupation that has  caused immense killing and destruction around the world. The recent  participation of the government of Canada in the war and bombing against  Libya which was unanimously supported by the Parliament of Canada  demonstrates very clearly why Canada needs an antiwar government and why  the next parliament and government must end Canada's participation in  the imperialist war drive.
