Join Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO) on Wednesday March 30th for the first forum of a two-part series focusing on the current bombing and war on Libya. 

Since Saturday March 19th the US/NATO/UN and other imperialists including Canada, have launched a brutal war on the people of Libya. As Tomahawk missiles drop onto Libyan soil, over 100 civilians have been killed in this latest chapter in the New Era of War and Occupation. 

This new offensive against humanity is a reactionary counter-offensive, an attempt by imperialist countries to gain back the ground that they lost over the last three months of mass protests against US-backed dictators in North Africa and the Middle East.

Today, March 29th, a meeting of over 40 foreign ministers from NATO countries was held to discuss the best way to continue the war on the people Libya, the best way to turn Libya into another Iraq.  Their real goal is to overthrow Gaddhafi using any brutal action in violation of both international law and the self-determination and sovereignty  of Libya, an oppressed nation.

>> What are the government of Canada's interests in sending warplanes, a warship and military personnel to join the NATO coalition military forces?
