El 28 de Junio, la poblacion de Honduras se desperto escuchando la noticia de que su democraticamente electo presidente, Manuel Zelava, habia sido removido de su cargo forzosamente por el poder de las fuerzas EE. UU. Por los ultimos 2 anos, el pueblo de Honduras ha sido testigo de como como su pais se ha convertito en campo de batalla debido a un movimiento de trabajadores, campesinos, estudiantes y gente oprimida. Ellos han continuado la movilizacion y organizacion en contra de el regimen corrupto de Porfirio Lobo . Este regimen es apoyado por el gobierno EE.UU.

Como respuesta a el movimiento organizado por el pueblo, matanzas, torturas, secuetros e intimidaciones de han sido llevadas a cabo y encabezadas por la policia y las fuerzas armadas.

El 28 de Mayo el pueblo de Honduras demostro su persistencia, fuerza y determinacion en forma de mobilizaciones que promueven el regreso de su electo presidente Manuel Zelaya. Sin embargo, el esfuerzo a sido, hasta ahora, en vano por que el corrupto regimen apoyado por los Estados Unidos, permanece en el poder. La represion continua. La base y las tropas EE.UU.siguen presentes en Honduras.

Unete a la Coalición de Solidaridad por Latinoamerica Unida para marcar este evento tan critico que conmemora la lucha de toda Latino America en contra de la dominacion de el gobierno estadounidense. Informate de los eventos que hemos tenido en los pasados dos anos y toma las calles. Levanta la voz para que las demandas de justicia en Honduras sean escuchadas.

On June 28th, 2009 the people of Honduras awoke to hear the news that their democratically elected president Manuel Zelaya had been forcibly removed from power by a U.S.-backed coup d’etat. The past 2 years have seen Honduras become a huge battleground as a mass movement of workers, farmers, students, and oppressed people has continued to mobilize and organize against the corrupt U.S.-backed regime of Profirio Lobo. This movement has met with systematic murder, imprisonment, torture, and intimidation from the police and armed forces.

Honduran people demonstrated their continued strength and determination with huge mobilizations to accompany the return of President Manuel Zelaya to Honduras on May 28th. However, the struggle is far from over as the corrupt U.S.-backed regime remains in power, the repression continues, and the U.S. 
continues to maintain its unwanted military base and troop presence in Honduras.

Join the Solidarity Coalition for a United Latin-America as we mark this critical event in the fight of all Latin-America against U.S. domination, learn from the events of the past two years, and take to the streets to echo the demands for justice being made in Honduras.
