A special event with Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba (VCSC)

Vancouver, Canada

Along with delicious coffees, sweets and beautiful poetry, dance and music, the evening also features Nada +, Cuba's 2003 Oscar entry that combines visual humor, poetry and a light-hearted love story. The film follows Carla Perez, a young postal service worker, as she helps her fellow Cubans find happiness and love through letters, while at the same time she is falling in love herself. Winner of the Dramatic Grand Jury Prize - Miami Film Festival; Winner of First Prize at the Naples Film Festival, Italy.

This event is by donation. Refreshments will be served and attendees are also encouraged to purchase something to eat or drink from Joe's Cafe.
