On Friday September 24th, the FBI raided eight homes and offices of antiwar and social justice activists in Chicago and Minneapolis. The FBI agents seized books, music CDs, photographs, computers, cell phones, chequebooks, papers, cameras and any other items that could contain information and saved data. The FBI also handed subpoenas to testify before a federal Grand Jury to fourteen activists in Illinois, Minnesota, and Michigan. These activists are involved in many social justice groups, including the Twin Cities Anti-War Committee, the Palestine Solidarity Group, the Colombia Action Network, Students for a Democratic Society, and the Freedom Road Socialist Organization.

This undemocratic and suppressive action against antiwar and peace activists has been denounced and condemned by numerous antiwar and social justice organizations in the United States and around the world. This picket action in Vancouver is part of a week of action across the US and beyond to stop the FBI Grand Jury suppression, called by the Committee to Stop FBI Repression for the week of November 29th to December 3rd.

We invite you to join us in Vancouver as we will picket in solidarity with our fellow social justice activists as we demand:
> Stop the repression of antiwar and international solidarity activists!
> End the Grand Jury proceedings against antiwar activists!
> Immediately return all confiscated materials: computers, cell phones, papers, documents, etc!
