Since 2001 the United States, Canada and their allies have unleashed a new era of war and occupation that has killed millions of people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and Africa. With 30,000 more US troops headed for Afghanistan this year, the prospect for any humane solution for Afghanistan is becoming even more grim. Afghans will face more bombings of their villages, being shot more at checkpoints, detention, and without a doubt there will be more torture and massacres. Afghan opposition to the occupation of their country continues to grow as much their resistance grows. The month of June set the record with 102 troops killed since the occupation started. Now Afghan trained NATO soldiers are opening fire on British and US soldiers killing 5.

In Afghanistan, like the situations in Iraq, Palestine, and Haiti, the imperialist powers are increasing the intensity, inhumanity and brutality of their occupation. For people in Afghanistan and other occupied lands the message has been very clear: occupying forces out now! Here in Vancouver, Canada, MAWO is inviting all human loving people to join in the call for an end to war and occupation.

END THE OCCUPATIONS of Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine and Haiti!
SELF DETERMINATION for Indigenous Nations and All Oppressed Nations!
US HANDS OFF Iran, Pakistan and Honduras!
DON'T ATTACK Iran!
