What is Behind the Election Dispute in Afghanistan?

The August 20th 2009 presidential elections farce in Afghanistan failed to bring any legitimacy to the foreign occupation of Afghanistan. Now, two months after the first elections farce, the occupation forces are gearing up for a run off election in Afghanistan. Join us to discuss what is behind this election dispute. 
 
BOOK LAUNCH:
The book launch for “War and Occupation in Afghanistan: Which Way Forward?” by Nita Palmer will also be taking place at this event. This new book features articles by MAWO Executive Committee member Nita Palmer, who will be speaking at the forum. Forum participants can buy the book at $5 (regular price: $7)
