Are you interested in volunteering in Cuba? In August 2009, 25 people from across Canada participated in the Ernesto Che Guevara Volunteer Work Brigade. Many will be at Mt. Pleasant Neighbourhood House Friday October 23rd to share their Cuban experiences through multimedia, music, dance and storytelling. 

Since 1993, hundreds of people living across Canada, of various ages, skills and backgrounds have enjoyed an exciting and informative three-week stay in Cuba with the Ernesto Che Guevara Volunteer Work Brigade. The Che brigade is a great chance to practice Spanish, volunteer in another country, and meet new people. Most importantly the Che Brigade is an opportunity to see the gains and victories of the Cuban revolution, as well as see Cuba's challenges, first hand. 

On Friday October 23 people from across the lower mainland will get a unique insight into the 2009 Che brigade and a chance to find out more about how they can travel to Cuba with the 2010 Che brigade!

Event is by donation, Dinner will be $8 (no one will be turned away for lack of funds).

¿Está usted interesado en ser voluntario en Cuba? En agosto de 2009, 25 personas de todo el país participaron en la Brigada de Trabajo Voluntario Ernesto Che Guevara. Muchos estarán en el Mount Pleasant Neighborhood House el viernes 23 de octubre para compartir sus experiencias de Cuba a través de multimedia, música, danza y narración de su viaje. 

Desde 1993, cientos de personas que viven en Canadá, de diversas edades, habilidades y procedencias han disfrutado de una apasionante e informativo viaje de tres semanas a Cuba, con la Brigada de Trabajo Voluntario de Ernesto Che Guevara. La Brigada Che es una gran oportunidad para practicar el español, de voluntariado en otro país, y conocer gente nueva. Lo más importante en la Brigada Che es una oportunidad de ver los logros y victorias de la revolución cubana, así como ver los desafíos de Cuba de primera mano. 

El viernes 23 de octubre  personas que viven en Vancouver y sus alrededores tendrán una visión única de la brigada el Che de 2009 y una oportunidad para conocer más acerca de cómo pueden viajar a Cuba con la brigada el Che de 2010! 

Evento es por donación, la cena será de $ 8 (nadie será rechazado por falta de fondos).
