This Saturday night resist war and occupation with the beats, rhythm and rhymes of Art of Resistance, an evening encompassing film, spoken word, poetry, acoustic guitar and hip hop. Come listen to the spirit of struggle, and enjoy an evening with delicious Mexican food, live music, poetry, and friends and co-fighters.

>> Musical surprise from a trio of MAWO organizers!
 
***  SPECIAL FILM PRESENTATION:  LA FABRI-K (2004) ***
 
LA FABRI_K (The Factory) details the exciting collaboration between two of Cuba’s most well known hip-hop groups, Obsesión, and Doble Filo. From their initial beginnings in Havana, to their eye-opening tour of the US, LA FABRI_K is a special documentary about young Cubans and their artistic, political, and cultural lives.
