After over seven and a half years of Canada/US/NATO occupation of Afghanistan, Afghan people are still fighting for their self determination in the face of the strongest militaries in the world devastating their country and killing their people. On May 3rd, 2009, occupation forces in Afghanistan committed their latest massacre, in which over 140 Afghan people were killed by US air strikes in the Western Farah province, as reported by Afghan authorities. 
 
The US government has now extended their brutal war drive to neighbouring Pakistan, by not only implementing a civil war in Pakistan through the government of Pakistan, but also with indiscriminate missile attacks by using drones which so far have killed at least 390 Pakistani people since August 2008.
 
In both Afghanistan and Pakistan, protests are erupting to condemn the attacks against the Afghan and Pakistani people, and to demand and end to the war. On Sunday May 17th, hundreds of Afghan Kabul University students protested, carrying a banner that read "USA is biggest terrorist around the world!" On Sunday May 24th hundreds of protesters rallied in front of the Pakistani Parliament in Islamabad, demanding that the US government leave Afghanistan and the Pakistani government stop their military operation.
 
On May 28th join MAWO in solidarity the protests in Afghanistan and Pakistan, to demand:
U.S./Canada/ NATO out of Afghanistan NOW!
Independent Public Inquiry into the Government of Canada’s War Drive in Afghanistan!
