Interested in traveling to Cuba this summer? Join Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba for a special information night about how you could join the 2009 Pastors for Peace Friendshipment Caravan to Cuba! Every year, over 100 caravanistas travel throughout the US and Canada with the Pastors for Peace Caravan, raising awareness about the US blockade on Cuba and gathering humanitarian aid to take to Cuban people, in defiance of the US blockade of the country. This special information night and cultural evening will feature photo presentations of the Caravan, poetry, music and as well as heart-warming film about Pastors for Peace’s challenge of the US blockade on Cuba, “Who’s Afraid of the Little Yellow School Bus?”.

$20 entrance includes refreshments and cultural program.
All proceeds will go towards sending young people and aid to Cuba this summer!

What is the Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba?
This summer, for the 20th time, the Pastors for Peace Friendshipment Caravan to Cuba will challenge the US government’s economic and travel blockade on Cuba. The Caravan kicks off July 3 and will travel through up to 140 cities in the US and Canada, raising awareness about the US blockade and gathering humanitarian aid to take to Cuba. Participants will then spend nine days in Cuba, participating in a variety of educational and cultural events.
