The 2nd International Che Guevara Conference is on the move! We have arranged a program including workshops to discuss, debate, and share the gains and development of 50 years of the Cuban Revolution, the popular revolution that since its victory in 1959 has impacted the progressive and revolutionary movements worldwide, especially in Latin-America.
The topics will cover a range of issues concerning revolutionary politics in Cuba, as well as building revolutionary movements around the world, such as: Cuba a revolution in motion; the early years of the Cuban Revolution; the Cuban Revolution and the question of leadership; the Cuban Revolution and its challenges after the collapse of the Soviet Union; the Cuban revolution and the US blockade; human rights, women's liberation and homosexual rights in Cuba; Cuba and democracy; and many other subjects.
Entrance to the conference is free! The conference program will also include documentary film showings, multimedia presentations and slide shows related to the topics. Low cost food and beverages will be served throughout the conference.
