On June 5th, police officers killed more than 30 and injured many more indigenous protestors in Bagua, Corral Quemado area in Peru. The Peruvian government had recently signed a number of free trade agreements, including with the U.S. and Canada, which opened up the lands of Indigenous Nations in Peru to foreign exploitation. Indigenous people responded with massive peaceful protests which lasted for 56 days before this massacre.

On Monday, June 15, please join with others around the world that have been urgently protesting this crime against humanity and demanding an end to the repression and an end to foreign intervention in Peru.

El 5 de junio, los agentes de policia Peruana mataron a mas de 30 Indigenas dejando ademas muchos heridos, gente indefensa que participaban en las protestas de Bagua y Corral Quemado en areas del Peru. El gobierno Peruano ha firmado recientemente una serie de acuerdos de libre comercio especialmente con EE. UU y Canada para arrebatar las tierras de los pueblos indigenas del Peru, dando asi paso a la explotacion extranjera.

Los indigenas respondieron con masivas protestas pacificas que se prolangaron por mas de 56 dias antes de esta cruel masacre.

El lunes 15 de junio por favor unanse con nosotros y con todos los que alrededor del mundo protestamos ante las injusticias y los crimines de la humanidad para pedir y exigir que cese la represion y el fin de la intervencion extranjera en el Peru.
