Join MAWO to plan and organize antiwar events and actions. The first 30
minutes of the MAWO meeting will be a screening of multimedia and film
clips about the current situation of war and occupation followed by a
report back by 3 MAWO Executive Committee members about their
participation in the National Assembly to end the Iraq &
Afghanistan Wars & Occupations conference in Pittsburgh, USA.

With five recent deaths throughout July, the death toll of Canadian
soldiers killed in Afghanistan is now at 125. As a result of this
criminal and brutal occupation, the people of Afghanistan are suffering
a death toll estimated to be over 40,000 due to the bombs, bullets and
air raids of foreign occupying forces. Join MAWO’s 56th picket action
to demand:
