Please join Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba (VCSC) tonight for the second event of "CUBA IN PERSPECTIVE" 6 days of forums to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution. 

This evening will feature poetry about Cuba, written by local women and Cuban women. We will then be inspired by the beautiful music of PANCHO y SAL. The evening will also feature two women Cuba solidarity activists who have recently traveled to Cuba speaking about the importance of the women in the Cuban revolution. The speakers will be followed by a discussion where we will be asking questions such as:
- What is the role of women in the Cuban Revolution, in the past and today?
- Were there women in the July 26th movement during the revolution?
- How are the Cuban people working to combat sexism, and promote women’s equality today?
