Join MAWO for an evening filled with beats and rhythm for change in a cultural evening to resist war and occupation at home and abroad. Following a full day conference titled “100 Years of Palestinian People in Struggle,” talented local artists will be joining together in sharing their gifts of spoken word, music and poetry for the cause of antiwar organizing. Come take part in the living spirit of struggle portrayed through artful resistance in an evening filled with good tunes, delicious food and the company of good friends!

Evening will include:

>> Jack Penny ~ lovely lyrics put to sweet and smooth acoustic guitar.
>> Shakeel Lochan ~ Sharp rhymes straight from the heart against war and for a better world.
>> Realistik ~ Home grown beats and rhymes for justice. 
>> Brittany B ~ Wows the crowd with her smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics.
>> Lauren Gill ~ Flies with powerful lines and rhymes for change.
>> A Multimedia slideshow of worldwide protests for Gaza
