TUESDAY DECEMBER 15
3:30pm Rain, snow or shine we will be there!
U.S.Consulate
1075 W. Pender Street
Vancouver, BC

On December 1st US President Barack Obama announced 30 000 more US troops would be sent to Afghanistan. Two days later NATO stated that other occupying forces would send an additional 7 000 troops to Afghanistan.

With 2009 bringing more pain and suffering to the Afghan people while record numbers of US troops have being killed in Afghanistan, what good could possibly come out of this massive troop escalation? Why is the voice of the people of Afghanistan excluded in these decisions to send more troops?

The past two weeks have seen hundreds of demonstrations throughout Afghanistan, the US, and many other countries against the war. Mobilization Against War & Occupation (MAWO) is calling on peace loving people in Vancouver to protest against this escalation and demand an immediate end to the war and occupation.

CANADA OUT OF AFGHANISTAN NOW!
U.S.OUT OF AFGHANISTAN NOW!
END THE OCCUPATION NOW!
BRING TROOPS HOME NOW!
