PROTEST THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THEIR UNJUST IMPRISONMENT!

Dear friends and co-fighters in the struggle for peace and
justice:

September 12th 2008 marks the 10 year anniversary of the
unjust imprisonment of the 5 Cuban heroes in U.S. jails.
The U.S. Government has proven again and again that it will not
grant justice for the 5, and the September
2nd decision from the Atlanta Court of Appeals
confirms this fact.

On June 4th the Atlanta Court announced that they would uphold 
the charges against the 5. On September 2 the same Court
denied an appeal request of this decision. This most recent unjust 
decision maintains the charges and sentences enforced against 
the 5, and allows for new sentences to be enforced against Antonio, 
Fernando and  Rene. In the last 10 years, both Rene and Gerardo, 
have been denied the right to see their wives due to the U.S
government's refusal to grant them visas. Olga Salanueva
and Adriana Pérez, have been denied visas to see their
husbands nine times; adding to the list of injustices
imposed on these Cuban heroes.

Throughout these ten years of injustice, Luis Posada
Carriles, a self professed anti-Cuban terrorist, remains
free to walk the streets of Miami. A freedom protected by
the U.S. government.

On September 12th peace-loving and humanist people in
Vancouver and around the world will be coming together to
protest this unjust anniversary as part of an International
Day of Action.

protest 10 years of injustice and to demand,

Queridos amigos y compañeros en la lucha por la Paz y la Justicia:

Septiembre 12 de 2008 marca el 10mo aniversario del injusto encarcelamiento de los 5 Héroes Cubanos en cárceles de E.U.A. EL Gobierno de E.U.A. ha demostrado una y otra vez que no otorgará justicia para los 5, y La decisión de Septiembre  2 de la Corte de apelaciones de Atlanta confirma este hecho.

EN Junio 4 la Corte de Atlante anuncio que mantendrían los cargos contra los 5. En Septiembre 2, la misma Corte negó una solicitud de apelación de esta decisión.  Esta injusta decisión ratifica las sentencias aplicadas contra Gerardo ( 2 sentencias por vida mas una a 15 años) y Rene (15 Años), y permite que nuevas sentencias puedan ser aplicadas contra Ramón, Antonio y Fernando. En los últimos 10 años, ambos Rene y Gerardo, han sido negados el permiso de ver a sus esposas debido al rechazo del Gobierno E.U.A. de otorgares visas. Olga Salanueva y Adriana Pérez, les han sido negadas visas para ver a sus maridos NUEVE veces; Agregando esto a lista de injusticias impuestas en esto Héroes Cubanos.

A través de esos 10 años de injusticias, EL autoproclamado terrorista Anti-Cubano, Luís Posada Carriles, permanece libre de andar pro las calles de Miami. Una libertad protegida por el Gobierno de los E.U.A. pero solo para sus “aliados”.

EN Septiembre 12 la gente amante de la Paz y humanista de Vancouver y alrededor del mundo estarán reuniéndose para protestar contra el aniversario de esta injusta situación, como parte de un DIA Internacional de Acción.

Lo invitamos a unirse este grupo en este Día Internacional de Acción para protestar por los 10 años de injusticia y exigir al gobierno de E.U.A.

¡LIBEREN A LOS 5 CUBANOS YA!
¡VISAS PARA SUS FAMILIAS YA! 
¡EXTRADITAR POSADAS A VENEZUELA YA!
