Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba (VCSC) is proud to be continuing our series of monthly Cuban cultural and film nights. This month we are honoured to give people across Vancouver a closer look at the historical role played by Cuban women in the struggle for women’s rights and a better world. 

* Featuring the Cuban Film LUCÍA * 
Selected as one of the top 10 Latin American films of all time, Lucía traces episodes in the lives of three Cuban women in 1895, 1933 and the 1960's. This dynamic film was created in 1968 by director Humberto Solas. 

Evening will also feature: 
* Dinner 
* Poetry and writings by Cuban women 
* Live music by local women. 

Event by donation, Dinner $5 (no one will be turned away for lack of funds).

La coalición de Comunidades en Solidaridad con Cuba de Vancouver (VCSC) está privilegiado a seguir nuestra serie de noches mensuales de cultura y cine Cubano. Esta mes tenemos la honor a presentar a gente alrededor de Vancouver una visión más detallada del papel histórica de las mujeres Cubanas en la lucha por los derechos de mujeres y un mundo mejor. 

* Presentación de la película LUCÍA *
Seleccionado entre los 10 mejores filmes del cine latinoamericano de todos los tiempos, Lucía muestra episodios en las vidas de tres mujeres Cubanas en 1895, 1933, y los 1960’s. Esta película dinámica era criado en 1968 por el director muy conocido, Humberto Solas.  

La Noche también tendrá:
* Comida
* Poesía y escritos de mujeres Cubanas
* Música en vivo por mujeres locales

Etrada es por donaciones, y comida cuesta $5 (nadie será negado por faltar dinero).
