Join MAWO for our bi-weekly Forum Class to discuss
in depth issues facing the antiwar movement today.
With the recent assassination attempt on the President
Hamid Karzai, along with increasing opposition to the war and
occupation at home, this class will discuss the quagmire that
imperialist countries are facing after 6 ½ years of occupying
Afghanistan and the deterioration of life that the occupation
has brought for the Afghan people.
We will discuss:
>> Why is the situation in Afghanistan worsening?
>> Why has Canada/NATO, as well as the US and UK
occupied Afghanistan?
Speaker: Nita Palmer, writer, researcher and author of
numerous articles on Afghanistan and editorial board
