Antiwar Movement: Where Are We Today?

Join MAWO for our bi-weekly class to discuss in depth 
issues facing the antiwar movement today. 

This week’s class will be an assessment of the world
wide protest March 15th and 19th and the stage of
organization and politics of the antiwar movement. 
> Speaker: Ali Yerevani, a member of MAWO and the
political editor of Fire This Time newspaper
> Discussion to follow speaker

Bringing together anti-war politics, music and
culture, MAWO will be joining talented musicians
together with antiwar organizers and activists for a
cultural night of resistance. Local musicians will be
spinning tracks and combining the words of resistance
with rhyme and rhythm… Come join MAWO, local talent,
and music lovers for this exciting event.
 
Doors open 7pm, Show at 8pm
El Rancho Restaurant (112 Kingsway St. – on the South
West corner of Kingsway and Broadway)
Admission $3 - $10
