Join MAWO and peace loving people in Vancouver
for the 40th picket action against the Canada/NATO
occupation of Afghanistan!

As the occupation of Afghanistan continues to cause
misery and suffering for millions of Afghans, the fight
against this unjust war is continuing to grow in both
Afghanistan and Canada. This has caused a crisis for
the government of Canada and other occupying
countries as they have been scrambling to find enough
foreign troops to repress the resistance in Afghanistan.
This coupled with the recent deaths of the 70th, 80th
and 81st Canadian soldiers since the invasion began
have made headlines across Canada over the past
month. Meanwhile, without any consultation of people
living in Canada, Parliament has approved an
extension of the Canadian mission in Afghanistan,
from the initial end date of 2009 to 2011. As people
living under this government we must unite to demand
an Independent Public Inquiry into the government of
Canada’s occupation of Afghanistan and demand: 
"CANADA/NATO OUT OF AFGHANISTAN NOW!"
