for the Antiwar Movement’

WEDNESDAY June 4th
6:30pm
In the Large North Hall of Joe's Cafe
(Williams Street at Commercial Drive)

Join MAWO for our bi-weekly Forum Class to discuss
in depth issues facing the antiwar movement today.

It is now more than 8 months since Alison Bodine,
co-chair of MAWO, was banned from entering Canada.
Alison Bodine and her supporters, as well as MAWO,
have been fighting to lift the ban and demand that
justice prevail in her upcoming judicial review. In this
forum class we will discuss not only the importance of
Alison Bodine’s rights as a antiwar, social justice and
peace activist, but also why the antiwar movement
must take Alison Bodine’s case as an important
element in campaigning against war and occupation.

Speaker: Ali Yerevani, political editor of the Fire This
Time Newspaper
Speaker will be followed by discussion.
