Dear friends and co-fighters in the struggle for peace and justice,

The U.S. Government has made it clear that they are not going to grant
justice for the 5 Cuban Heroes held in U.S. prisons. September 12 of
this year will mark 10 years of their unjust imprisonment. Two of
them, René González and Gerardo Hernández, have also been denied the
right to see their wives due to the U.S government's refusal to grant
them visas. Olga Salanueva and Adriana Pérez, have been denied visas
to see their husbands nine times; adding to the list of injustices
imposed on these Cuban heroes.

On August 30th there will also be other protests including in front of
the U.S. Consulate in Toronto Canada, organized by the Canada Network
on Cuba and in front of U.S. Consulate in Vancouver, Canada, organized
by the Free the Cuban 5 Committee. These cross-Canada actions to "Free
the Cuban 5!" will continue in the future as more and more people in
Canada take on the campaign  to free these 5 Cuban heroes from behind
the prison bars of the U.S.

Please join the Free the Cuban 5 Committee-Vancouver on this
Cross-Canada Day of Action to protest 10 years of injustice and to
demand,

Queridos amigos y compañeros de los combatientes en la lucha por la
paz y la justicia, El Gobierno de los EE.UU. ha dejado claro que no
van a conceder la justicia para los 5 Héroes cubanos prisioneros en
cárceles estadounidenses. El 12 de Septiembre de este año se cumplirán
10 años de su injusto encarcelamiento. A dos de ellos, René González y
Gerardo Hernández, también se les han negado el derecho a ver a sus
esposas, debido a que el gobierno norteamericano se niega a
concederles el visado. A Olga Salanueva y Adriana Pérez se les ha
negado el visado para ver a sus esposos en nueve ocasiones; añadiendo
esta situación a la lista de las injusticias cometidas contra estos
héroes cubanos.

El 30 de Agosto, habrá protestas incluso frente al Consulado de los
EE.UU. en Toronto Canadá, organizada por la Red Canadiense de
Solidaridad con Cuba y frente al Consulado de EE.UU. en Vancouver,
Canadá, organizada por el Comité por la Libertad de Los 5 Héroes
Cubanos de Vancouver. Esta cruzada acciones en Canadá por la Libertad
de Los Cinco Héroes Cubanos continuará en el futuro a medida que más y
más personas en Canadá se
incorporen a  la campaña para liberar a estos 5 héroes cubanos de  que
se encuentran tras los barrotes cárceles estadounidenses.

Por favor, únase al de Comité de Vancouver  por la Libertad de los
Cinco Héroes Cubanos en este Día de Acción en Canadá para protestar
por los 10 años de injusticia y demandar la libertad para los 5 héroes
Cubanos.
