Join MAWO and peace loving people in Vancouver for the
41st picket action against the Canada/NATO occupation
of Afghanistan!

Over 6 ½ years of occupation have brought nothing but
misery and a complete lowering of all standards of life
for people in Afghanistan. Due to the Canada/NATO
bombing, persecution, torture and plundering of the
wealth of this country, there are now 60,000 street
children in Kabul alone, and 600 children under 5 years
old who die every day from preventable diseases and
malnutrition, according to UNICEF. Now Canada has
taken the lead in continuing this brutal and unjust
occupation, as the government of Canada has extended
their military occupation to 2011 and their condition of
escalating NATO troop level by 1000 was agreed upon by
NATO members at the recent NATO summit in Romania. 

As people living under Harper conservative government
who is responsible for this bloodshed we must unite to
form an Independent Public Inquiry into the government
of Canada's occupation of Afghanistan and demand:
"CANADA/NATO OUT OF AFGHANISTAN NOW!"
