High schools, colleges and universities are in full
swing as MAWO has organized with antiwar groups on
campuses across the lower mainland to bring forums,
film showings and more everyday this week. As student
struggle against increasing tuition fees, military
recruiters and increased public funds being used on
the military, the reality of Canada's war abroad has
become a catalyst for students to get involved in
organizing against it!

response of oppressed people uniting to fight against
it. Join MAWO in building direct actions and
educational events towards building an effective and
broad antiwar movement here in Canada, such as this
weekend’s MAWO Antiwar Conference, and the final days
of this semester’s Student Week Against War &
Occupation!

Following the previous day's Antiwar Demonstration,
MAWO organizes this year's third all-day conference to
discuss in depth the focus of war and occupation
around the world, and how the antiwar movement should
respond. Join any of the 2 interactive workshops and
hear from a dynamic panel of speakers, and participate
in learning about and assessing the gains and
challenges of the growing movement of resistance to
the current era of war and occupation at home and
abroad.
