Alison Bodine Lift the Ban 10,000 Petition Drive

Join us to discuss and strategize the Alison Bodine Lift the Ban 10,000 Petition Drive launched by the Alison Bodine Defence Committee (ABDC) this week!

On November 17th the exclusion order and 2-year ban from Canada against Alison Bodine took effect, forcing her to leave the country, but this fight is not over. We believe that it doesn't matter what side of the 49th parallel Alison is on, this fight for civil liberties will continue until achieving victory. The drive for 10,000 petitions to demand Minister of Citizenship & Immigration Diane Finley lift the 2-year ban against Alison will be organized broadly across the Lower Mainland, other cities in Canada and in the US. The campaign will gather support from as many people, organizations, labour and student unions, political parties, politicians and community groups as possible to unite with the demand "Lift the 2-year Ban!"

Over the next days, weeks and months the Alison Bodine Defence Committee will keep organizing and fighting in defence of the civil liberties for all people especially those who are fighting for justice, humanity and a better world.
