>>>FRIDAY November 2nd
6:30pm
Britannia Community Center – Learning Resource Room (1661 Napier Drive @ Commercial Drive)
~~~SPEAKER: Ali Yerevani, Political Editor of the Fire This Time (ftt) Newspaper
~~~MC: Alison Bodine, MAWO Co-chair & Spokesperson, unjustly targeted as an antiwar activist by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in September 2007, she is now fighting against the Immigration & Refugee Board of Canada order to ban her from Canada for 2 years.
What is the peace program for working and poor people? This forum will discuss the lessons learned from historic antiwar movements in North America and abroad and why oppressed people need an independent antiwar action program in the acceleration of imperialist military aggression.
