After the success of the International Weekend of Action Against War & 
Occupation -  March 17/18 2007, join us as we continue to organize and build 
a strong and effective movement against war and occupation! This weekend saw 
hundreds of people take to the  streets in Vancouver  alongside hundreds of 
thousands worldwide - all united against war and occupation from Iraq to 
Afghanistan to Africa and Latin America. MAWO closed this important weekend 
with the successful all-day antiwar conference, "The Struggle Against 
Imperialist Terrorism: Confronting the Wars & Occupations After 9/11" on 
Sunday March 18th. More than 85 participants including, youth, students, 
women, union activists and people from across the Lower Mainland including 
from the Muslim, Latin American, Middle Eastern, African, and Asian 
communities were in attendance. Participants came out to the conference to 
discuss the state of struggle against the era of war and occupation from the 
Middle East to Africa and where we must go from here (check out

MARK YOUR CALENDAR! The next Vancouver Antiwar Demonstration is Saturday 
April 28 @ 2pm at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Join us as Vancouver continues 
to rally in solidarity with all people struggling against war and occupation 
and calling for US/UK Out of Iraq! Canada/NATO Out of Afghanistan! US/UN 
Troops Hands Off Africa! and Self-Determination for All Oppressed Nations!

MAWO will also hold our regular picket protest in front of the Canadian 
Armed Forces Recruitment Center downtown Vancouver to oppose the Canadian 
military occupation and atrocities in Afghanistan. The upcoming picket will
