FOCUS: As we quickly approach this years’ Hip Hop
Festival Against War & Occupation, we have a great opportunity to discuss Hip Hop, not simply as a music of today’s youth, but of a culture of resistance, that fighters from the Ghettos of America to the slingshot shooting youth of Palestine have used to inform, motivate and inspire social justice activists the world over! Class and discussion will be led by internationally renowned Hip Hop artist Spin from Toronto and Shakeel Lochan, c-oordinator of MAWO’s Hip Hop festival.
