On July 21st to the 22nd the only festival of its kind takes root in the lower mainland for the third year showcasing an international and local roster of talent from MC’s to Breakdancers, to DJ’s/VJ’s and Graffiti Artists: the Vancouver Hip Hop Festival Against War & Occupation 3! This unique two day festival is all free, all ages and in the spirit of grassroots Hip Hop and activism.
 
Building up to the festival at today’s Hip Hop Festival Sneak Preview at the Vancouver Art Gallery, MAWO and a bevy of artists who will beperforming will give the masses a taste of the talent that will explode the following weekend. 
 
Artists include: Snake Eyes, Kytami, SPIN and more! We will also be joined by some seriously amazing break-dancing talent including the, “Now or Never” Crew – Canadian Hip Hop Champions who head to Portland next week for an international jam and then onto Los Angeles for the World Championships! 
Come down to the Vancouver Art Gallery and join us in the spirit of a culture which is the soundtrack of resistance in the 21st Century - Hip Hop - voicing it’s action against oppression!
