1.  Exposing the recent imperialist propaganda campaign for ‘humanitarian’ 
intervention in Africa via Darfur, Sudan, the invasion of Somalia by 
US-backed Ethiopian forces and recent US air strikes on Somalia have ripped 
open the era of war and occupation into Africa. Join us this week at the 
MAWO class for discussion and analysis on this attack and aggression and on 
effective organizing against the expansion of imperialist intervention, 
invasion and occupation into Africa.

2.  At the MAWO general meeting on Wednesday January 10th a resolution was 
passed unanimously against the invasion of Somalia calling for “All Foreign 
Troops Out Now!” MAWO also launched a new campaign to combine the ongoing 
campaigns against the wars and occupations in Afghanistan and Iraq with 
organizing a campaign against imperialists’ intervention in Africa,

Iraq! Canada Out of Afghanistan! Hands Off Somalia! All Foreign Troops Out
