Join us for the first MAWO organizing meeting of 2007!
At this week's meeting we will be discussing and
planning upcoming antiwar actions including the 6th
"Student Week Against War & Occupation" to kick off
this semester of antiwar organizing on Lower Mainland
campuses. At this meeting we will also discuss a
series of upcoming forums and picket actions for
January and February 2007.

MAWO's next action is the rally on Saturday January
27th at 2pm at the Vancouver Art Gallery. The protest
will call for "Canada/NATO Out of Afghanistan!" "US/UK
Out of Iraq!" and "US/UN/Canada Hands Off Sudan &
Darfur!" 

MAWO has also endorsed the call made by International
ANSWER in the US for an International Day of Action on
March 17, 2007 to mark the 4th anniversary of the
US-led invasion of Iraq. To get involved in organizing
these and other campaigns, including the 12,000-strong
petition campaign demanding "Canada Out of Afghanistan
Now!", come to this week's MAWO organizing meeting!
