1. As a focal point of the new era of war and occupation, Iran is coming
under increasing threat by the US and other imperialist countries.
This week one of the pillars of the US propaganda drive for war
against Iran was knocked down when the US’ own 16 spy agencies
stated Iran stopped its nuclear arms work four years ago. Despite
this, Bush is still campaigning for attack and says Iran remains
a "danger to the world" and the US will keep "all options"
against it open.

Join MAWO’s bi-weekly education class to discuss in-depth
this new development with the US war drive against Iran.
Ali Yerevani, Political Editor of the Fire This Time Newspaper,
will discuss and analyze the new era of war and occupation in
the Middle East and the possible expansion of war and occupation
with a US attack on Iran.

2. At this meeting will also be discussing MAWO’s upcoming actions
against war and occupation in the next week. This includes the
Urgent Picket Action “No War on Iran!” on Monday December 10th and the
Vancouver 5th Annual Antiwar Film Festival December 15th & 16th
with the theme“The Battle of Ideas”.
