You are invited to join Mobilization Against War &
Occupation (MAWO) for our next bi-weekly educational
class in the series “Organizing in the Era of War &
Occupation”. The class this week will continue
from the last discussion into why the US, Canada,
UK and all imperialist countries have turned to a
policy of waging wars and occupations as a way to
solve their economic crises.

This week’s class will end with an organizing point as
we are in the final stretch of the Fall 2006 Student
Week Against War & Occupation SWAWO) – 10 days of
coordinated antiwar actions and events taking place on
college, university and high school campuses.
SWAWO Fall 2006 will build up to the International
Weekend of Action
with the call for action October 28th and the
demonstration organized by Stopwar.ca and endorsed by
MAWO (gathering at noon at Waterfront Skytrain
station, March 1:00pm to Vancouver Art Gallery. Beyond
the October 28 protests MAWO is organizing an all-day
antiwar conference October 29th from 10am-7pm at the
Britannia Community Center. Join us this week as we
plan for this International Weekend of Action.

Everyone interested in building an effective and
strong movement against war and occupation is invited
and welcomed to attend classes and organizing
meetings!
