Mobilization Against War & Occupation (MAWO) is
inviting you to join us for our bi-weekly organizing
meeting! At this week's meeting we will be discussing
and organizing the upcoming 5th Student Week Against
War & Occupation taking place from October 16-27th.

As part of building an effective movement against war
and occupation, these ten days of antiwar events and
actions organized in partnership with student antiwar
clubs & social justice groups on high school, college,
and university campuses will lead up to the October
28th International Day of Action to bring the troops
home, which includes the October 28th Canada-wide day
of action for Canada out of Afghanistan. For this
international weekend of antiwar action, and for
deepening antiwar education and understanding, MAWO is
organizing an all-day antiwar conference on Sunday
October 29th at the Britannia Community Center.

To get involved in organizing these and other
campaigns, including the 12,000-strong petition
campaign demanding "Canada Out of Afghanistan Now!",
come to this week's MAWO organizing meeting! MAWO's
bi-weekly political education discussion classes
(alternating with Wednesday meetings) will continue
again next Wednesday October 11.
