On Wednesday May 17 the government of Canada voted to extend the Canadian 
military occupation of Afghanistan until 2009. In the 6 days since that vote 
over 300 Afghan people have been killed by the occupation. This destruction 
brought on by the occupation will only continue now until at least 2009. As 
people in Canada we have a responsibility to rally in opposition to this 
brutal occupation, call for an Independent Public Inquiry into the Canadian 
war drive in Afghanistan and attend the protest picket this Thursday May 25!
