On August 9th 2005, 3 judges of the 11th Circuit Court
of Appeals released a 93-page document outlining their
decision on the case of the Cuban 5 for a re-trial
with a change of venue.  However since this decision
was made the government of the U.S. has intervened
appealing the decision by the 11th Circuit court and
demanding that a full 12 judge panel review the
decision. With their appeal, the U.S. claims there is
no reason for a re-trial and is acting to block any
progress made in the case of the Cuban 5. It is now
more important then ever to continue fighting for the
Cuban 5 in Vancouver as their appeal for a re-trial is
currently being argued in the courtroom. 

Join us in our protest picket action on Monday March
27 at the U.S. Consulate in Vancouver to condemn the 
criminal actions of the U.S. government and demand the
immediate release of the Five Cuban Heroes held in
U.S. Jails.

PRESOS EN LOS E.U.!

El 9 de Agosto del 2005, 3 jueces del 11o. Tribunal de
la Corte de Apelaciones lanzaron un documento de 93
páginas delineando su decisión sobre el caso de los 5
cubanos para un nuevo proceso judicial en un lugar
diferente. Sin embargo, desde que esta decisión fue
hecha, el gobierno de los E.U. ha intervenido apelando
la decisión del 11o. Tribunal de la Corte y demandando
que un panel completo de 12 Jueces revise
la decisión. Con esta apelación, los E.U. reclaman que
no hay razón para un nuevo proceso judicial y están
actuando para bloquear cualquier progreso hecho en el
caso de los 5 Cubanos.  Es más importante  Ahora  que
nunca continuar luchando por Los 5 Cubanos en
Vancouver pues su apelación para un nuevo proceso
judicial se está discutiendo actualmente en la Corte.

Unete a nuestra acción de protesta el Lunes 27 de
Marzo en el Consulado de los E.U. en Vancouver para
condenar las acciones criminales del gobierno de los
E.U. y demandar la libertad inmediata de los Cinco
Heroes Cubanos presos en carceles de E.U.
