Mobilization Against War & Occupation (MAWO)

MAWO is currently in the midst of an action packed schedule of events, the 
"Global Week of Action", marking the 3rd anniversary of the invasion of Iraq 
with a week of protest in educating, organizing and mobilizing against war 
and occupation. These have included two city-wide forums, an all day antiwar 
conference, participating in the international day of action march and rally 
and guest speaking events on university and college campuses in the lower 
mainland. There are still events to come this week and much to organize for 
the future. For more information on the "Global Week of Action" and also the 
ongoing "Student Week in Solidarity with Palestine" being organized by the 
UBC Palestine Solidarity Committee at UBC, check out WWW.MAWOVANCOUVER.oRG 
and come to this week's MAWO meeting!
