Join us for this week’s MAWO meeting to organize and build for a very 
important (and ongoing!) GLOBAL WEEK OF ACTION against war and occupation 
and for self-determination of oppressed nations on the anniversary of the 
3rd anniversary of the US/UK invasion of Iraq!

MAWO’s Global Week of Action kicked off today with the third successful 
picket against the Canadian occupation of Afghanistan in two weeks. The 
Global Week of Action continues this week building up to the Stopwar.ca 
Vancouver demonstration on March 18, endorsed by MAWO & protesting the 3rd 
anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, MAWO’s day-long antiwar conference on 
March 19 (see www.mawovancouver.org for program) and through until March 
with educational, cultural and musical events on campuses and in the city, 
against war and occupation!

Come out to MAWO’s organizing meeting this Thursday (the day has been 
changed due to our Wednesday March 15 forum “Racist Cartoons, Islamophobia: 
the roots & consequences”) to get involved in building the antiwar movement 
leading up to March 18/19 and beyond!
