Below is a calendar of antiwar direct actions such
as educational events, demonstrations, musical and cultural events for
ongoing and public educational and movement building work against
the Canadian, US, UK imperialist war drives. At these and many other events
we will continue to collect signatures on the MAWO “Canada Out of 
Afghanistan!”
Petition to add thousands more to the 10,000 signatures already collected
on this campaign in the Lower Mainland alone. MAWO invites you to
participate in these activities against imperialist war and occupation and 
for
self-determination for oppressed nations!

MAWO has responded to and endorsed the call for an International Day of 
Action against war and occupation by the International ANSWER Coalition in 
the US and the call by the Collective Echec a la guerre, the Canadian Peace 
Alliance, the Canadian Labour Congress, and the Canadian Islamic Congress 
for a pan-Canadian day of protest against the occupation of Afghanistan to 
take place October 28.
