Join us for this week's important MAWO meeting as we discuss developments in 
the Canadian occupation of Afghanistan and the death of the 17th Canadian 
soldier
in the occupation just two days ago. In response to this MAWO is calling for 
Thursday July 13
as an Emergency Picket Action against the occupation on the 1st anniversary 
of the Canadian
military announcement of the intensification of the Canadian war drive in 
Afghanistan. The picket begins at 12:30pm at the Canadian Armed Forces 
Recruitment Center at 1070 W Georgia on Thursday.

We are also continuing to organize and build Vancouver's 2nd Annual Hip HOp 
Festival Against War &
Occupation, a major event in Vancouver - musically and for the antiwar
