from last
class!*

Wednesday December 20, 2006
@ 6:30pm
at Joe's Cafe
(on Commercial Dr at the corner of Williams St +
Commercial)
---------------------------

Join MAWO - Mobilization Against War & Occupation
(MAWO) for our next bi-weekly educational class in the
series “Organizing in the Era of War & Occupation”.

The focus of discussion at this week's class will be a
continuation from our last class on the threat of
imperialist agression toward Sudan/Darfur. To read
MAWO's resolution against any intervention by Canada,
US, EU, or any international body in Africa –
especially in the much publicized conflicted region of
Darfur in Sudan, go to:
http://www.mawovancouver.org/articles/statements/061129sudan.html

This weekend MAWO hosted Vancouver's 4th Annual
Antiwar Film Festival with a very successful turn out
of 600 people in the Lower Mainland viewing films on
the struggle against war, occupation and imperialism
from all over the world and throughout history. MAWO's
bi-weekly education classes are part of building the
antiwar movement by combining political education and
analysis with MAWO's direct actions, events,
conferences and festivals.

=MAWO Meetings & Classes December 2006 - January 2007=

Due to the holiday, there will not be a MAWO meeting
Wednesday December 27, 2006. Classes will resume in
the New Year on Wednesday January 3, 2007 followed by
the first MAWO general meeting of 2007 on Wednesday
January 10th. We look forward to seeing you at the
MAWO class this Wednesday as well as in January 2007
for a new year of struggle.

Everyone interested in building an effective and
strong movement against war and occupation is invited
and welcomed to attend classes and organizing
meetings!
